Web Applications and Functional Web Sites
I am a freelance programmer who specializes in building web sites with functionality. My web sites are creative and built on solid technological foundations and compliance considerations.
With over twelve years of Internet experience, I understand Internet business and have the web programming skills (i.e., HTML, PHP, MySQL, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax, and Flash) to get it to work for you. From custom web designs to specialized web solutions, I provide results that work.
In addition, I am aware of the newest design standards suggested by the W3C; and the standards under the Federal Section 508 guidelines as per the Rehabilitation Act of 1973; and the requirements by the American Disability Act (ADA). As such, I design web sites to comply with both the client's needs and required standards and guidelines.
Applied Scientific Research
Using Macintosh computers coupled with my custom software and specialized peripherals, I have conducted Scientific Research in several different disciplines (Geoscience, Medical, Manufacturing, Internet). I have experience in numerous types of data gathering and analysis -- please review my Resume portion of this site for examples.
My data analysis is designed to solve the topic investigated via a wide range of algorithms and methods such as, but not limited to, cluster analysis, signal processing, chaotic systems consideration, computational geometry, and various intelligent methods (i.e., rule/case-based interpretation, fuzzy-logic rationalization, genetic reasoning/solutions).
Macintosh Application Development
Since 1984, I have developed Macintosh applications. My clients ranged from very large companies (i.e., Exxon) to small businesses. For example, I wrote an assembler for DOW Chemical; produced the first Geophysical workstation (i.e., MASA®) for the petroleum industry; and even created a Freeware game called "Quarters", which has experienced phenomenal worldwide distribution with over 250,000 downloads and was noted in MacWorld's top-ten freeware games as well as numerous other publications.
